Sehrish
I love being a dental hygienist mainly because of the satisfaction I get working with patients one-on-one, helping them improve their oral hygiene and enhancing the beauty of their smiles. Making a difference in patients’ lives by educating them about the importance of oral health is one of the major reasons I entered this profession.
I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene (with honors) from New York University and went on to complete my Master of Science in Healthcare Management at Rutgers University.
When I’m not working, I love to spend time with my family. Traveling, along with exploring different cultures and cuisines, has topped my list of hobbies in the past few years.

I like meeting new people and learning about their lives and interests. We have the best patients, and each of them has stories I want to hear! Some patients worry about seeing the dentist: I promise them that Dr. Kiani is gentle and that patients will feel comfortable during their visits.
I prepare the operatories to make sure everything is ready. After I seat our patient, I explain what their visit will entail. Working chairside, I assist Dr. Kiani and, at the same time, I talk with our patient about what we’re doing and make sure that they’re still comfortable. When the procedure is finished, I offer home care instructions and answer questions.
When I’m not working, I’m usually with my family. I love to travel and go to amusement parks. I like escaping into a good book and listening to classical music, too.

I love building relationships and helping patients understand their dental insurance. We have a wonderful team here, with each person committed to keeping our patients relaxed and comfortable during visits.
I’m a certified medical and dental insurance biller. Working with patients, I review their insurance coverage, handle paperwork and filing claims, and make sure everyone gets the most from their benefits! I also support our staff with clerical matters to ensure we’re keeping our patients happy.
My time off is spent with family and friends. I love my pets who complete my family. I enjoy cooking, time at the beach, and dancing to my favorite music: Salsa!

I am thrilled to be part of the team here, ensuring that every patient feels comfortable and at ease during their visit. I understand that some patients may have concerns, and I make it my priority to reassure them that they are in gentle and caring hands.
In 2023, I graduated from Manhattan College with a B.A. in environmental studies. With my experience in customer service and patient care, I am in a unique position to create welcoming experiences and foster long-lasting connections with everyone who walks through our doors.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new restaurants, breaking a sweat at the gym and expressing my creativity by creating beauty and fashion content on various social media platforms.
